MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WA – Tracey Beal, GML, Internal Sales Manager at MILA, Inc., the e-commerce mortgage provider also doing business as Mortgage Investment Lending Associates, recently attended the NAPMW Annual Convention in St. Louis, MO. Beal, Immediate Past President Director of NAPMW, Everett, met with experts from across the nation to acquire new industry information. “I am much more aware of how pending changes in the law and industry may affect our business and how I can better serve our customers by having this knowledge,” said Beal.
Beal holds the Graduate of Mortgage Lending (GML) accreditation from NAPMW. Graduates are required to have at least one year of mortgage experience prior to starting the coursework and must pass written exams. Coursework includes the study of mortgage history, residential and commercial loan cycles, legislation and regulation, and standards of practice. Beal said, “Achieving GML accreditation gives me a more thorough understanding of the entire mortgage process and helps me guide customers more easily through their loans.”
