MILA Wins National Communications Award
Internal e-newsletter wins Clarion from Association of Women in Communications

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. - July 15, 2006 - The Pipeline, MILA's internal monthly e-newsletter, recently was honored by the Association of Women in Communications. The primary tool used in communicating company news, Associate activities and engaging in dialogue with MILA's nearly 450 employees, The Pipeline is a robust interactive e-newsletter.

"We are thrilled to get recognition for the Pipeline," said Tina Gonsalves, Director of Marketing for MILA and lead director of the publication. "A lot of hard work goes into every issue as we make an effort to include information that pertains to every area of our business so that it is a truly informative and entertaining piece."

Some of the features in MILA's Pipeline that were highlighted in the award recognition were its "Get to Know your Neighbor" feature where Associates answer questions that range from "your dirties job" to "your dream vacation." Other features include feature stories that explain any large company changes, like the launch of a new website, and other company news. Associate social activities, such as bowling leagues and softball team news, is also featured in the publication.

This is the third Clarion award that MILA has received in the past two years, having won two in 2005 for its external video communications for its 40,000-plus brokers.
