MILA, INC. AND LYNNWOOD MAYOR’S MOTORCYCLE EVENT BENEFITS CHILDREN

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, WA – MILA, Inc., the e-commerce mortgage provider also doing business as Mortgage Investment Lending Associates, matched all rider entry fees in Lynnwood Mayor Mike McKinnon’s Motorcycle Ride on August 20 benefiting the Little Red School House and the Lynnwood Police Department Child Passenger Restraint Program.

Mayor McKinnon led almost 200 riders on a scenic, back roads, century ride (100 miles) from Lynnwood to Camp Brotherhood, ending with a picnic and a live concert by country

western singer Roxie Dean. This year’s event raised 70 percent more in entry fees than last year’s ride and over $10,000 in total contributions. Layne Sapp, MILA CEO, said “MILA is pleased that this event is gaining momentum and that we can play a role calling attention to the work of Little Red School House, which has been providing assistance for developmentally disabled children for over 40 years, and the police department’s car seat program.” Mayor McKinnon said, “We are very grateful to have MILA involved again this year. MILA is an inspirational, generous partner in our community.”
